L'Oréal Professional Products Division is rolling out "Salon Emotion", a pioneering program to support the development of the hairdressing industry in France and Europe. Launched in France and other major European countries starting January 2015, the program aims to transform 6000 salons in Europe by the end of 2018.
“Salon Emotion” is a unique transformation program based on three essential components:
  • training and raising awareness of services

  • personalized advice and guidance to modernize the salons

  • making financing simpler

The new ”Salon Emotion” is the perfect combination of professionalism and digitization: the client lives an emotional journey in the salon, enhanced by technological elements that allow her to reach new level of awareness through a personalized and interactive journey.
The journey consists of different stages. Initially the customer passes through the window that draw her attention to the passage and provides the ability to download the dedicated app. Then the customer go to the reception and diagnostic center where, with the aid of a table interactive, creates the technical data sheet and planning the budget, then the client through a touch screen can display the look made from the salon or downloaded from the web. The customer can then purchase the products used by the designers to create her look simply calling them via barcode and finally through Selfie mirror will share her look on social networks.
In Italy, Samsumg is the technological project partner and BNL (BNP Paribas Group) will offer favorable terms.
